HOUSE / BUSINESS DECORATING CONTEST 
Entries will be judged based on curbside appeal only.  Judges will not enter the property.  Each home or business will be judged in one of the following categories.  Please check the box next to the one category description you think best matches your home display.  The category you select will be used as a guide only.  Please note that the judges will ultimately decide which category best fits the home display being considered.  In addition, the judges reserve the right to eliminate or add categories based on the entries received.

There will also be a Mayor’s Choice Award & People's Choice Award for the Best Overall Decorations. 

Entries must be in by 3:00pm on Monday, November 27th to the Youngsville Town Hall.  You can drop off this form at 134 US 1A South (after hours you can use the drop box), mail to P.O. Box 190, Youngsville, NC  27596, fill out the

Judging will take place on Wednesday, November 29th starting 6 pm.
People's Choice votes will be available on Facebook on Thurs, Nov 30, so make sure you are following us  facebook-n 

All awards will be handed out on Friday, December 1st at the Tree Lighting Ceremony held at Benchmark Bank, 110 S College Street.  Festivities start at 5:30pm, with awards announced during the 7:00pm Tree Lighting Ceremony.

OLE FASHION CHRISTMAS PARADE

Radio FlyerThe Youngsville Christmas Parade is the first Saturday in December, at 10am, rain or shine!   This year, the Christmas Parade will be held on December 2, 2023.  The Town Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will also be held from 5:30pm-8pm on Friday, December 1, 2023.

  • 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM – Christmas tree lighting ceremony in vicinity of Benchmark Community Bank / S. College Street
  • 8:00 PM - Roads open for all traffic

  •  8:00 AM - 9:00 AM – Floats arrive at staging area
  •  9:00 AM – Float Decorating Contest Judging

Luddy Park (~40 spaces), Youngsville Elementary School (~175 spaces), Youngsville Library (~40 spaces), National Guard Armory (~35 spaces), Youngsville Holden Road lot (~30 spaces).


 END-OF-PARADE PROCEDURE

The parade route now ends, and participants can be dropped off, at YOUNGSVILLE ELEMEMTARY SCHOOL BUS LOT on S. College Street.  Floats and vehicles will unload participants from the Bus Lot. Children will wait for parents to arrive at the Bus Lot and children will walk with parents to the appropriate parking area to depart.  All parade floats & vehicles proceeding past the Bus Lot, taking S. College Street onto Oak Street, then a left onto US-1A, will enter into the flowing traffic leaving Youngsville. Floats are more than welcome to breakdown at Bud's Tavern, down US-1A South, if needed.
