Parks and Recreation Programs Postponed Until the Fall Season

Parks and Recreation Spring Baseball Cancellation Statement

 Good Afternoon,

As COVID-19 cases continue, our top priority remains the health and safety of our community, participants, and employees. We are committed to following the recommendations and protocols established by local, state, and federal agencies that are monitoring the situation and providing guidance on how to respond.

To limit activities where individuals may come into close contact with each other and in alignment with our focus on protecting our participants and staff, the Youngsville Parks and Recreation Department has decided to cancel all spring youth sports.

A credit toward the fall baseball season will be issued for all participants that were registered for the spring season. If participants choose not to participate in fall baseball a refund may be requested.  We take these steps because, as always, maintaining the health and well-being of our residents and participants is our top priority.

When it becomes possible to resume, summer youth athletic opportunities that include half-day baseball and basketball clinics will be offered.  These clinics will focus on learning the fundamentals of each sport and growing each participant’s skill set.  Each week will culminate with an opportunity to play games in front of spectators and show off the skills that they have learned during the week.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support!
