POLICE OFFICER

Compensation range: $39,416.00- $59,124.00 Annually

General Statement of Job: Youngsville Police Officers perform general law enforcement work in order to preserve public peace, protect lives, property and rights of the public, and enforce statutory law and municipal ordinances.
Minimum Training and Experience: This position requires a High School Diploma and/or GED and 1 year of experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, in law enforcement. A Basic Law Enforcement Training certificate and NC Driver's License are also required.

PART-TIME PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Compensation range: $15.00 per hour
Closing date: Open until filled
General Statement of Job: This classification performs semi-skilled work functions to operate motorized light- to heavy-weight equipment to maintain and repair town grounds and streets, and to provide solid waste collection services. THIS POSITION IS PART-TIME AND LIMITED TO 20 HOURS PER WEEK WITHOUT BENEFITS.
Minimum Training and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma and/or GED and 1 year of previous experience and/or training involving street maintenance, grounds maintenance, solid waste, and recycling; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Excellent driving history is required. A class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement is preferred.
