The Town of Youngsville provides services to its citizens in part with funding from an ad valorem property tax. This tax applies to citizens within the city limits and is in addition to Franklin County's property tax. The Town Board of Commissioners is responsible for setting the tax rate each year based on projected revenue and expenses. The table below shows the Town's property tax rates for fiscal year 2022 and over the previous years. We strive to keep our tax rate as low as possible and still provide needed services to our citizens. As an example, in 2022 for a homeowner within the city limits whose property is assessed at a tax value of $200,000, the annual property tax would be $1,310.00.
