Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design and Construction Services for a new Public Works Facility

Pursuant to Section 143-128.1(A) of the North Carolina General Statutes, the Town of Youngsville’s Public Works Department will be soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified Design-Build teams interested in providing professional design and construction services for a new Public Works facility.

The new Public Works facility will provide proper space and offices designed to house the staff and all equipment as well as materials for the Public Works Department. It will also be equipped to become an area for preventive maintenance care and repair of all the Town’s vehicles and equipment. The project budget is estimated at $1 million.

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction and Engineering Inspection Services for the Main Street Improvements Project

Pursuant to Article 8 of the North Carolina General Statutes, the Town of Youngsville’s Planning Department will be soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms interested in providing professional construction engineering and inspection services for the Town's Main Street Improvement Project.

This project proposes improvements to Main Street (NC 96) from east of College Street (US 1-A) to Cross Street (0.28 miles). Improvements include installation of sidewalks, curb extensions, crosswalks, shared lane markings, and streetscape enhancements. Existing sidewalks will also be repaired or replaced. This project also involves a pedestrian crossing of CSX Railroad. The PEF will perform CEI services for the project as described with the addition of the milling, resurfacing, and utility work. The project budget is estimated at $60,000.
